Beautiful lace begins with extraordinary precision. Discover the people, machines and craft behind every metre.
A wide fabric frame. A continuous bank of needles. An intricate design, repeated with care.
Industrial precision.
A human touch.
Allahwala Impex has been making lace in Karachi since 1997 — one of the older textile groups still run by the family that started it. The mill sits in the Super Highway Industrial Area near Ahsanabad, with the road and port connections that let a roll leave the floor and reach a container without a detour.
We specialise in GPO and guipure laces, cotton and polyester borders, and embroidered trims. Design, punching, stitching, dyeing and finishing all happen in-house, which is the only reliable way to hold a colour and a repeat across a large order.
Five distinct lines. One considered approach. Made to your design, matched to your shade, and finished to your width.
Bright, high-sheen trim that holds a crisp scallop and takes disperse dye cleanly. The workhorse of the range.
The same constructions run on semi-dull yarn for a flat, chalky surface — for when the trim should sit back rather than catch the light.
Cotton-base borders and broderie anglaise for bedding, kurta panels and childrenswear. Soft hand, reactive-dyeable, pre-shrunk.
Chemical lace — stitched on a ground that is burnt out to leave the motif standing alone. Runs plain or with metallic gold and silver.
Panels, borders and placed motifs stitched to your artwork. Send a design or a swatch and we punch it — sampling before bulk, every time.
Three departments on one floor. Nothing leaves the building between the drawing and the packed carton, which is what keeps a repeat and a shade consistent from the first metre to the last.
Wide frames, continuous needle banks and a team that knows every part of the process. Get closer to the machines that turn a repeat into metres of lace.

From your first idea to the finished delivery. Explore the six stages that bring a collection to life.

We develop your artwork into a repeat, balancing the motif, spacing and detail.
One mill. Every stage considered.
Start with your designAllahwala Impex was founded in 1997 by Mr. Muhammad Usman Allahwala, who still runs it as Founder and CEO. Around two hundred people work the floor, and the machines they run are ours — which means when you ask what is happening to your order, someone can walk over and look.
From developing a repeat to checking the final shade, our team follows your order through the whole mill. A direct connection to the people and machines behind every metre.
Welcome to Allahwala Impex, where textile meets innovation.
It depends on the line. Running an existing design in a stock shade can start small; a new punched design carries a setup cost, so the economics improve above roughly 3,000 metres per colourway. Tell us the design and the quantity and we will be straight with you about whether it is worth punching.
Yes. Send a physical swatch or a Pantone TCX reference. Polyester takes disperse dye and cotton takes reactive, so the same nominal shade behaves differently on each base — we sample both if your order mixes them.
Five to seven working days for a punched strike-off from new artwork, faster if we are re-running something already on file. Bulk lead time depends on the queue and the quantity; we quote it with the sample rather than guessing up front.
Guipure — also called chemical lace. The motif is embroidered onto a soluble ground fabric which is then dissolved away, leaving the design standing on its own connecting bars with no net behind it. It is what gives guipure its weight and its sculpted edge.
Yes. The mill sits on the Super Highway with direct access to Karachi port, and we handle carding, boxing and export documentation on site.
