03 / Capabilities & OEM Services

From sketch to container.
Completely in-house.

When lace production is fragmented across third-party punchers, freelance dyers, and outsourced finishing plants, repeats warp and shades drift. At Allahwala Impex, every phase—from initial vector digitizing to computerized stenter curing—is performed under one roof in Karachi. This complete vertical custody guarantees mathematical stitch alignment, shade continuity, and reliable export schedules.

End-to-End Manufacturing Workflow

Engineered precision.
Step by disciplined step.

We do not outsource critical transitions. By maintaining closed-loop custody between digitizers, machine operators, dye masters, and inspection foremen, our floor eliminates the finger-pointing that plagues traditional apparel sourcing.

01 Design Engineering

CAD Punching & Repeat Digitizing

Every bespoke trim begins with custom CAD vectorization. Our master punchers calculate stitch path optimization, density balancing, and stitch pull-compensation specific to the base ground fabric (cotton lawn, organza, chemical water-soluble paper, or polyester tulle).

Precision Sampling & Lab Dips

Physical strike-off swatches are produced on dedicated sampling frames within 48 to 72 hours. Our dye laboratory utilizes spectrophotometer color matching calibrated against Pantone Fashion, Home + Interiors (TCX & TPX) and physical client swatch swatches under D65, TL84, and A light booths.

Schiffli & Multi-Head Bulk Stitching

Massive double-tier Schiffli embroidery frames operate with synchronized shuttle banks over continuous fabric widths up to 15 yards. Individual electronic thread tension monitors prevent uneven shrinkage and needle breakage, ensuring unblemished pattern repeat across 50,000+ metre production runs.

Chemical Dissolution & Scalloping

For freestanding Guipure (GPO) lace, embroidered rolls enter our specialized chemical extraction vats. The water-soluble backing substrate is systematically extracted without compromising the tensile strength or sheen of the core embroidery yarn. Automated laser and ultrasonic edge cutters create crisp, fray-free scallops.

Custom Dyeing & Stenter Finishing

Lace is dyed in controlled-temperature liquor vats using OEKO-TEX compliant reactive and disperse dyes. After color lock, goods pass through a multi-chamber heated stenter frame with pin-feed width control to prevent dimensional distortion, heat-set fibers, and apply customized hand-feel finishes (silicone soft, crisp resin, or natural dull).

Tabletop Quality Inspection & Export Packing

100% of finished lace is inspected under high-CRI tabletop inspection bridges using the standard 4-point defect grading system. Every meter is checked for needle drops, shade banding, or broken bridges before being rolled on hardboard cores or double-bolt folded. Goods are hermetically sealed in heavy-gauge poly moisture barriers and packed in heavy corrugated export cartons.

Procurement & Commercial Terms

Frequently asked questions.

Everything you need to know about initiating a sampling run, MOQs, production lead times, and export commercial arrangements.

What are your Minimum Order Quantities (MOQs)?

Our baseline bulk MOQ for custom-developed trims and laces typically starts at 500 to 1,000 metres per design and colorway, depending on width, stitch density, and substrate construction.

For seasonal fashion capsules or domestic designer launches, we offer pilot runs of 300 metres with slight setup amortizations. For high-volume commodity programs, our Schiffli line easily scales to 100,000+ metres with competitive tiered volume discounts.

What is your typical turnaround time from artwork to delivery?

Production velocity is split into two straightforward stages:

  • Sampling & Lab Dip Stage: 48 to 72 hours for CAD vector punching and initial physical strike-off swatches. Spectrophotometer lab dips against Pantone references are completed in 3 business days.
  • Bulk Production: Standard bulk turnaround is 10 to 18 business days following client strike-off approval. Rush expedited orders can be scheduled on dedicated 24-hour machine shifts upon request.
How are sampling charges and CAD punching costs handled?

A nominal CAD digitizing and sampling strike-off fee is charged for original custom artwork to cover machine setup and yarn threading.

100% Rebate Policy: Once the design moves forward into bulk production meeting our MOQ threshold, the initial sampling and punching fees are credited back fully against the bulk invoice. Catalog designs from our existing archive incur zero sampling development charges.

What payment terms and export financing do you accept?

We accommodate standard global textile trade instruments:

  • Domestic Orders (Pakistan): 30% to 50% advance deposit upon sample sign-off, balance cleared upon tabletop inspection prior to dispatch or verified Delivery Order.
  • Export Shipments: Irrevocable Letter of Credit at sight (L/C at sight) or Telegraphic Transfer (T/T with 30% deposit, 70% against Bill of Lading copy). We support FOB Karachi (KPT/QICT) and CIF destination sea/air ports.
Can you match custom Pantone shades with color fastness guarantees?

Yes. Our in-house dye house uses computer-formulated recipe software paired with a Datacolor spectrophotometer. We match Pantone Fashion, Home + Interiors codes (TCX cotton and TPX paper) with an exactness tolerance of ΔE ≤ 0.8.

All dyed lots undergo standard wash-fastness (ISO 105-C06), dry/wet rub fastness (ISO 105-X12), and light fastness testing before dispatch, maintaining Grade 4 to 5 standards suitable for international retail distribution.

What base fabrics and thread compositions do you support?

Our Schiffli machines and multi-head frames handle a diverse matrix of substrates:

  • Yarns: 100% Combed Cotton, Spun Polyester, Filament Dull Polyester, High-Gloss Viscose Rayon, Metallic Lurex, and Cordonnet gimp threads.
  • Substrates: Soluble PVA film and chemical paper (for Guipure/GPO), 100% Cotton Lawn, Voile, Organza, Silk Chiffon, Poly Georgette, and Nylon Mesh Tulle.
